Please, buy the handmade goodies our Auxiliary volunteers have created for your Valentine’s Day gift-giving needs! Doing so will not only make your gift recipient happy, but you will be showing how extra thoughtful you are by supporting your community’s efforts to save lives and property.
This year we are raising money to replace the fire department’s EMS monitor/defibrillators with new LIFEPAK 15s. The monitor/defibrillators the EMTs are using now are so old that they can no longer be serviced or repaired. Parts and batteries are no longer available for the old ones. Unfortunately, new monitor/defibrillators cost around $30,000/each.
Here’s what we’re offering this year:
- Cute gift boxes filled with truffles and filled candies (huckleberry cream, cherry cream, and coconut) for $20.
- A single hot cocoa bomb for $5.
- 4-pack boxes of hot cocoa bombs for $20
For those of you unfamiliar with hot cocoa bombs, they are globes of chocolate filled with hot cocoa mix and mini-marshmallows. Hot milk, coffee, or water is poured over a bomb placed in a mug. Once stirred, a decadently delicious hot cocoa treat is ready to drink.
We are taking orders using the form below. Once you submit your order, you will be taken to PayPal. You do NOT need a PayPal account to use your credit or debit card to place an order. Please, note that the order form is asking for the quantity of each type you’re ordering; do not do the math for the form or you could be overcharged.
We are NOT shipping orders. You must pickup your candy at The Hilltop Hitching Post restaurant in Marion (8225 US HWY 2) on either Saturday, February 12th or Sunday February 13th during one of two periods of time: 11 AM–2 PM or 4–7 PM.
For those who do not want to order gifts and plan to wait until the last minute, limited quantities will be available for purchase at The Hilltop Hitching Post the weekend before Valentine’s Day.
