Host Your Event in the Marion Community Center!
The Auxiliary manages the Marion Community Center, which is attached to Marion’s main fire station. To pay for is upkeep, the Auxiliary rents the community center out to members of the public for a nominal fee for non-commercial use (for example, birthday parties, family reunions, homeowners association meetings, and makers’ day gatherings). We do not charge charities or organizers of public service events, such as Hunter’s Education classes. Sorry, we do not allow vendors to rent the community center to sell goods or services.
The Marion Community Center is wheelchair-accessible and has restrooms. It also has an attached kitchen available for rent. The Marion Community Center is large enough to comfortably host gatherings of up to 125 people.
In addition to the rental fee, users must provide a $100 refundable deposit. Deposits are usually returned the same day of the event—after the room is inspected for damage and general cleanliness/tidiness.
Rental Fee Schedule
- Charity or public-service user: $0 (room only/no kitchen) or $35 (with kitchen)
- Non-commercial user: $35 (room only/no kitchen) or $70 (with kitchen)
If the community center is unavailable for rental, the calendar below will show “busy” for either the entire day or a period of time on that day.
