Marion Fire Auxiliary is grateful to past and current members and welcoming to potential new members. Please, come to one of our upcoming meetings to find out how your time and talent can help us accomplish our mission and serve our community.
The Auxiliary usually meets in the Marion Community Center at 10 a.m. on the FIRST Monday of each month. However, meetings are subject to change. So, please, read the events listing at the bottom of this page for an upcoming meeting’s date, or feel free to contact us.
You do not need to become an official member of the Auxiliary to volunteer at our special events. Becoming a member means you want to vote on governance issues, such as electing directors, changing bylaws, and approving grants requested by the Marion Fire Chief. Dues for 2019 were set at $5/person. Membership dues are used to pay for items used for internal matters (such as giving flowers to gravely ill members), because we want donors to be assured their contributions are solely used in support of the Auxiliary’s mission. Our 2019 member application can either be mailed to us or brought by you to one of our business meetings. We hope to see you soon!
