CANCELLED: Marion Freedom Day

Regretfully, Marion Freedom Day (our community's 4th of July parade-carnival-BBQ that our fire department hosts) is cancelled. A majority of the Marion Fire District's Board of Directors decided to cancel the event, because of COVID-19. Hopefully, conditions will improve enough that we will have the event next year. We are looking for volunteers from the community-at-large to help and participate in this year's event on Independence Day. Our treasurer posted notice that the annual raffle for 2018 netted $14,500—$3,000 better than last year! Thank you to each of you who bought tickets and sent in a little extra in donations!
