Marion Freedom Day 2021

We are helping our fire department to host Marion Freedom Day on Saturday, July 3rd. The event kicks off at 11 AM with a parade. CANCELLED: Marion Freedom Day

Regretfully, Marion Freedom Day (our community's 4th of July parade-carnival-BBQ that our fire department hosts) is cancelled. A majority of the Marion Fire District's Board of Directors decided to cancel the event, because of COVID-19. Hopefully, conditions will improve enough that we will have the event next year. 4th of July Event Committee Meeting

We are looking for volunteers from the community-at-large to help and participate in this year's event on Independence Day. We're especially hopeful to get more participants in the parade that can create/pull a decorated float or drive a classic car.
